The new service is called ConFreeCall, and is available for download on PC though the Yahoo Messenger plug-in gallery. This new service extends the text, voice, and photo sharing service that Yahoo currently offers through Messenger 8.

The conference calling feature that has been integrated is utilizing services from Vapps Inc. The same company that works with Skype on their conference calling services. Vapps will offset the cost of the free service, by offering additional services like conference call recording, playback, and 24 hour operator support.
