So I got my new Blackberry 8525 today (more on that later), and set it up to check my Gmail. The problem is, by default it shows you what’s in the inbox of your Gmail account, but once the Blackberry has downloaded the message from Gmail, it gets archived. Then, the Blackberry queries the Gmail inbox again, finds that it’s empty (because I’d downloaded the messages via Blackberry), and promptly updates the local inbox to show…nothing. Clearly, I need to find a different way to check my Gmail remotely. When I do, I’ll post the solution.
