Hide open windows in Windows with WinHide

Freeware program HideWin lets you define a list of windows you want to be able to hide fast and completely from your desktop and your taskbar for whatever reasons. eg. browsing that sleezy site and someone walks in on you. *ahem*

It doesn’t kill the window but actually hides it so popups will still be running on the background if you’re not using a popup blocker when browsing but because popup windows sometimes become visible again, HideWin continually searches for and hides windows. sometimes windows don’t usually have titles to uniquely identify them but can specify just a class name to hide multiple windows of the same type (e.g. all notepad windows have the class name of “Notepad”).

The downside is that there isn’t a keyboard for this program so it’s a two-click affair.
