Zapr – Simple File Sharing

Zapr is a beta site that allows you to share and transfer files for free. The PC doing the sharing requires a client download, XP and .net. Once installed, it’s time to drag and drop.
After you’ve marked files to share, an email is sent to the people you’ve chosen with a URL pointed to your shared file. If the file is ever moved, the link breaks and the sharing fun is over.
You are able to keep your list of people separated or you can build groups which is actually kind of convenient for project work.

Take a look around at Zapr.

Hi, thanks for post.
Yep, you’re right on the money. You can share folders as well as files, which is much easier. That also helps if you want to change what you’re sharing.
i.e. if you share out a collection of videos, pictures and podcasts and you decide that a certain video is perhaps not as flattering of your girlfriend as you thought, you can just pull it out of the folder and it’s no longer shared. That way you can put a Zapr Link to the folder on your MySpace and your friends can come browse your collection when they feel like it.
